- The league consists of 8 rounds total. Every week, one match is played. Opponents are chosen using the Swiss system (see https://bit.ly/35g7BFX)
- Each match is played to 5 games won. Each game is played to 11 points and must be won with a 2-point lead. The maximum score is 20.
- The official used balls are Dunlop brand balls with two yellow dots. If both players agree, other balls may be used.
- If you cannot play a future round, you can temporarily eliminate yourself using the 'Sit out round' in the schedule. If the situation changes and you want to play the round, you can re-enter by clicking the 'Play round' button
- After opponents are drawn, you can contact your opponent by clicking the chat icon. Then you can suggest possible dates for your match.
- After you set a term, publish it (to other players and the organizer) using the calendar icon in preview of the current window
- If you cannot agree on a date within the current week, you can postpone the match and play it any time before the draw of the round after next (for example: the first round must be played before the draw of the third round). To postpone the match, you need to use a Joker Card (see "USING JOKER CARDS")
- If no agreement is reached and the match is not played, neither player gets a point. In exceptionable situations, the match can be played later but only after consultation with the organizer. Only the organizer has the authority to allow a round to be played later.
- If the players cannot agree on the location etc. of the match, the right to choose falls to the player listen first in the 'Matches' tab
- If your opponent has confirmed the match date and did not attend the match, you win by default. In this case, it is necessary to provide confirmation from the opponent.
- If the opponent is inactive when trying to set a match date, you win by default. Victories by default are always decided by the organizer.
- After the first stage of the league is finshed, it moves on to the playoffs. Only the best 8 players enter the playoffs.
- If more than 24 paying players participate in the league, the playoffs are divided into Playoffs A (for the first 8 best players) and Playoffs B (for the next best 8 players). The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals must always be played before the next phase is drawn.
- USING JOKER CARDS
- If you cannot play a league match in the week after the draw, you need to use the Joker Card to postpone the match for a week. If neither player uses the Joker Card, the match will be evaluated by the draw of the next round (for example: the third round will be evaluated by the time the fourth round is drawn).
- The number of Joker Cards for each player is limited to 4 in the first stage. Joker Cards cannot be transferred into further seasons or between players.
- If no Joker Card is used and no match date is set in the chat, the organizer can remove inactive players from the draw of the next round. The players can join the draw again by clicking the "Re-enter league" button.
If no result is entered by the round's end, the match will be locked and evaluated automatically. The decision is based strictly on the rules of automatic match evaluation. Match can be re-evaluated if an appeal is submitted within 2 days of the original evaluation at info@hobbyliga.pl
